(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home1/bulbuus5/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114A soup for all seasons<\/strong><\/p>\n This simple one bowl dish always brings on a smile as almost every time i have made it, it gets wiped clean.\u00a0 When you just want to make a meal out of a soupy dish, this is IT!!<\/p>\n Warm, soothing and nourishing, I present you the adaptations for winter and summer.\u00a0 All doshas are pacified by this – the kaphas can lower the creaming options to half a tea spoon.<\/p>\n Sun in a bowl<\/p>\n Portion: 4<\/p>\n Ingredients:<\/p>\n Pumpkin<\/strong>: 500gms peeled cubes<\/em><\/p>\n Vegetable broth:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>4 glasses<\/em><\/p>\n Fresh Vegetables<\/strong>: Seasonal fresh and Julienned<\/p>\n White Onions<\/strong>: 200gms roughly chopped\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Ginger<\/strong>: 3\u00a0inches finely grated (in summer exchange this for mint)<\/em><\/p>\n Fresh turmeric<\/strong>: 1 piece grated (option 1 tsp turmeric powder- however the nutritive quality is much lower)<\/em><\/p>\n Brown Rice<\/strong>: 75gms (raw wt) cooked<\/p>\n Microgreens<\/strong>: 1 cup<\/p>\n Coconut milk<\/strong>: 1 cup<\/p>\n Fresh coconut shavings: <\/strong>12 spirals<\/em><\/p>\n Peanuts<\/strong>: 4 table spoons roasted and crushed<\/p>\n Kafir lime leaf<\/strong>: 5 nos<\/em><\/p>\n Thai chilli<\/strong>: 3 nos<\/em><\/p>\n Oil of choice<\/strong>: 1 table spoon (coconut or avocado in summer, Sesame in winter- virgin preferred)<\/em><\/p>\n Method<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n In a blender, add the white onions, kafir lime, thai chilli, fresh turmeric, ginger and make a paste.<\/p>\n In a pan add the oil and cook the paste on medium heat and stir gently. As it begins to stick, add the pumpkin and vegetable broth.
